Even though my back was in tremendous pain, my cabin had signed up to go on a tour of Sami country. This is similiar to going to a Native American reservation in the US. They dont normally allow people on their land, and so it was cool that we got to do this. Even though I am not a big fan of fishing, I decided to suck it up and go. Blake and Ulrika were in my boat, and Ulrika caught a fish (albeit a small one) in the first few minutes, so we thought it was going to be a great fishing day. We were wrong. That was the only fish anyone in either boat caught all day.

We were about to head in when our engine died. We flagged down the other boat, and on their way over, their engine died too. We were still quite a distance away from shore, so when we were able to get our engine started again, we towed them. And then our engine died again. So Blake volunteered to row us all the way back, since I couldnt move my back without crying, and Ulrika didnt know how to row. The boys in the other boat, Björn and Daniel wanted to keep fishing and they made Nina row all the way back! Classy!

We didnt learn or see as much about the culture as we had anticipated, but the tour guide did have a pet reindeer, so that was pretty cool:
